Dubai, UAE: Honeywell's Aerospace's JetWave™ high-speed in-flight connectivity system will be distributed to a wide segment of the global business jet market thanks to an agreement with Satair signed on Febraury 11 at MRO Middle East.

Multiple devices in the cabin can connect to JetWave through the Inmarsat satellite network.

At a press conference Monday afternoon at Satair's MRO Middle East stand, it was announced that the JetWave product will be distributed to the EMEA and India-based Honeywell Dealers by Satair. This is in addition to Part 145 MRO and repair facilities not part of the Honeywell network that will undertake installation work.

Satair will hold a specific inventory level of all JetWave components to offer immediate delivery. It has also invested in a large pool of full ship sets of JetWave stock to further enhance service.

“We are delighted that Honeywell continues to trust Satair to deliver great service to the business and general aviation market," said Allan Riis, Business Development Director at Satair. "We now have dedicated Single Point of Contact (SPOC) order desks for JetWave and other business aviation products and we see JetWave as part of a continuous journey by Satair into the important business and general aviation market.”

Raghed Talih, Director, Aftermarket Sales and Services for Honeywell Aerospace, Middle East, Turkey, India and Africa, also noted: “We are very pleased to further expand our relationship with Satair, and our history of collaboration especially on the Primus and ADS-B mandate program has demonstrated that Satair is a proactive and like-minded partner when bringing our products to market.”
