BermudAir selects Cobalt Spectrum LED drop-in mood lighting
IFPL Group has announced that BermudAir has selected Cobalt Spectrum LED drop-in mood lighting, from Cobalt Aerospace, for its Embraer 175 fleet. The airline is focusing on convenience, comfort and service to elevate the travel experience for passengers.
“The installation took four technicians one full 12-hour shift. We were very happy with the quality and support the Cobalt team provided to BermudAir,” said Adam Scott, Founder and CEO of BermudAir.
Cobalt Spectrum mood lighting is currently deployed and flying with multiple carriers worldwide.
“We are delighted BermudAir have selected our class-leading LED mood lighting system, to assist in providing a superior travel experience for their passengers. They will be using our Cobalt Spectrum lighting to illuminate the interior of each aircraft with the BermudAir brand colours, plus additional light settings for boarding, meal services, sleeping, waking, and more,” IFPL Group said in its press release. “It is this ability to distinguish between different stages of flight which assists passengers with a heightened feeling of wellbeing throughout their journey.”
Cobalt Spectrum is a “plug and play” system, providing a direct replacement for fluorescent tubes inside the aircraft cabin requiring no changes to the wiring. It is designed to be lightweight and long-lasting, offering potential fuel cost savings.
“In recent years, the aviation industry has witnessed a growing emphasis on creating a unique and memorable passenger experience. Realizing this demand, we have invested significant resources in research and development to craft an exceptional wireless-controlled LED cabin mood lighting solution. By blending creativity with advanced technology, we aim to improve the way passengers perceive their time in-flight, and support relaxation and well-being,” said Tommy Nelms, VP Global Sales, Cobalt Aerospace.
This collaboration with BermudAir has been approved under Cobalt Aerospace’s own Design Organization Approval (DOA).
