IFP appoints new Managing Director

Haxton will lead the company to further develop its services to airline clients

End-to-end service provider covering all aspects of the passenger entertainment experience, IFP, today announced that it has appointed Robert Haxton as Managing Director of its UK and worldwide offices.

Following a successful year which saw IFP grow and strengthen its portfolio of inflight entertainment content, technical and creative solutions, Haxton will lead the company to further develop its services to airline clients.  

“I look forward to continuing to drive IFP’s business through a critical new phase of optimisation and growth as we strive to meet our airline clients’ expanding content and digital needs,” commented Haxton, who joined IFP in June 2012 as Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining IFP, he served as Vice President and Finance Director at Sony Pictures Entertainment since 2005. Haxton had previously held a number of senior level financial positions for companies in the publishing, media, advertising and entertainment sectors, including Haymarket Publishing Ltd, JWT, British Sky Broadcasting (BSKYB) and Polygram Records (now Universal).
