Flying Food Group adds to Hawaiian Airlines service

Hawaiian Airlines has chosen Flying Food Group (FFG) Kona to cater seasonal flights between Kona on Hawaii’s big island and Los Angeles. The service started May 28.

Hawaiian is now offering three flights weekly to the mainland from Kona. Since 2014, FFG HNL has catered 24 Hawaiian flights daily. Systemwide, FFG services Hawaiian Airlines at New York JFK, LAX, SEA and SFO: plus Sacramento, Oakland and San Jose via remote catering.

Nicolas Rondeau, FFG Executive Vice President, Airline Sales, noted that the Flying Food Group-Hawaiian Airlines partnership continues to flourish. FFG in Honolulu has twice been named Hawaiian’s Domestic Kitchen of the Year (2015 + 2016). Rondeau added that FFG HNL also earned Hawaiian’s 2017 Valued Partner Award for providing a “high level of support” and “daily contributions.” 

FFG provides catering services to more than 80 airlines—primarily international routes—from its strategic network of 22 facilities.
