LG Display will demonstrate its OLED video wall at CES 2020 in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10.

South Korea-based LG Display has announced that it will provide premium OLED displays for aircraft cabins. Its latest technologies will be on display at CES 2020 in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10.

According to a press release from LG Display, the company will show how innovative displays can be applied in various settings – such as aircraft, automobiles, homes, hotels, offices and commercial spaces – to meet the versatile needs of customers and to fit the characteristics of a space, all under the slogan “Your Lifestyle with LG Display.”

For aircraft, LG Display will create OLED video walls made of a series of 55-inch displays installed on the wall of the cabin, offering passengers more space and upgrading the inflight experience. Also, the company will showcase its 65-inch Ultra HD Bendable OLED display, which is flexible at both ends and creates an immersive on-screen image by adjusting the curvature according to passenger preference. The Bendable OLED display is convenient for gaming and watching movies.

LG Display will also unveil a 55-inch Full HD Transparent OLED display with 40 per cent transparency for use as a partition. The screen can display videos and information, but if passengers prefer privacy, the visor feature can be turned off. The company’s 13.3-inch Plastic OLED tablet will also be placed in the cabin.
