Aeroplay Entertainment names André Valera CEO

Aeroplay Entertainment (Aeroplay) has appointed André Valera as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Aeroplay is a full service inflight entertainment content service provider (CSP) with expertise in tailor-made content delivered seamlessly through multiple channels onboard.
"IFC is entering a new era — not just 'content onboard,' but a travel media and engagement layer that can be personalized, measurable, and commerce-ready. The shift is already underway across connectivity, content workflows, and passenger expectations," Valera said.
Valera also said Aeroplay aims to build:
- A modern travel media platform that makes distribution faster, smarter, and scalable
- A passenger experience layer native to the digital world: personal, responsive, outcome-driven
- A partner-led ecosystem where airlines, OEMs, IFE platforms, studios, and tech enablers can move faster together
Valera brings his experience as Vice President Business Development at Conetic and Managing Director at ABOVE to the role.
