ABOVE becomes Tier 1 delivery platform to distribute Disney content
ABOVE has been approved as a Tier 1 delivery platform for Inflight Entertainment (IFE) to distribute Disney Entertainment content.
This designation enables ABOVE to receive Disney assets in advance of theatrical release, allowing early work on localization, quality control, and screening. This early access improves operational planning and supports faster, more efficient content readiness for airline partners and CSPs.
According to the press release, ABOVE consistently delivers titles well ahead of the typical two-week processing standard. Efficiency is built into the system architecture through automation, enabling cost reductions and supporting rapid refresh cycles with a 48-hour SLA.
The platform is fully cloud-native, providing seamless, end-to-end workflow capabilities, spanning editing, localization, packaging, and delivery. It also supports consistent reliability and security compliance with studio requirements.
ABOVE is engineered for compatibility with all major IFE systems, and its infrastructure is designed to scale and adapt as airline and studio needs evolve.
This Tier 1 status complements ABOVE’s existing partnerships with studios such as Warner Bros., Shemaroo Contentino, and Universal Music Group and supports its broader media distribution capabilities, already live with 20+ airlines and multiple CSPs worldwide.
