FlightPath3D's brings the inflight map to life on more than 1,000 Gogo Vision installations, with more to come thanks to the renewed partnership

FlightPath3D and business aviation connectivity provider Gogo are extending its long-standing partnership with FlightPath3D’s moving map now installed on more than 1,000 aircraft equipped with the Gogo Vision inflight entertainment system worldwide.

The companies began collaborating in 2020. The renewed relationship builds on that growth and positions FlightPath3D as a key provider of passenger mapping technology within the Gogo Vision ecosystem.

FlightPath3D’s interactive mapping solution is integrated across aircraft using Gogo Vision, providing passengers with real-time flight tracking and destination information through a mobile-first interface designed for personal laptops, tablets and smartphones.

The solution also supports zero-data entertainment, allowing passengers to access the integrated mapping and information service without using their personal or operator data plans. Its global architecture supports multiple languages and international flight profiles.

Updating cabin technology without downtime
FlightPath3D designed its moving map to work across devices, platforms and browsers, allowing passengers to view real-time flight information on their own devices.

The integration with Gogo’s over-the-air update delivery system also enables flight departments to keep cabin technology current without scheduling maintenance downtime for software updates.

"From day one, our mission has been to make moving maps feel entirely effortless and captivating for the person in the seat," said Boris Veksler, Chief Executive Officer of FlightPath3D. "Continuing our relationship with Gogo allows us to keep raising the standard of inflight entertainment. Surpassing the 1,000-aircraft milestone is a testament to what happens when two high-growth, customer-centric innovators work together."

Core feature across Gogo Vision plans
FlightPath3D’s 3D moving map serves as a foundational component of the Gogo Vision inflight entertainment suite and is included across all Gogo Vision service tiers.

Passengers receive flight tracking and destination intelligence through the standard map experience, while Gogo Vision+ and Vision 360 offer additional interactive capabilities.

"The 3D Moving Map is an essential piece of the Gogo Vision experience, which is why it's included as a core feature across all Gogo Vision plans," said Michael Skov Christensen, Chief Revenue Officer, Gogo. "FlightPath3D continues to deliver a highly engaging, reliable product that elevates the travel journey for our operators and their passengers alike."

With the partnership continuing, the companies said the focus will remain on further advancing cabin technology and passenger engagement, using interactive mapping to connect travelers with their flight and destinations.
