Delta Air Lines is adding The Wall Street Journal to Delta Sync Wi-Fi and seatback screens, giving passengers more ways to stay informed and connected during their journey.

Beginning July 1, SkyMiles Members can unlock a 24-hour trial to The Wall Street Journal when they log in to Delta Sync Wi-Fi. Access continues after landing, allowing passengers to keep reading beyond the flight.

Passengers can also watch a curated selection of WSJ video journalism through Delta’s inflight entertainment system, available on nearly 900 aircraft. The lineup includes exclusive interviews with business leaders and series such as “Coveted,” “The Economics Of,” “Pro Perfected” and “The Job Interview.”

The partnership brings another premium content brand into the Delta Sync ecosystem, which is designed to help SkyMiles Members stay connected, productive or entertained while they travel.

“A significant portion of our customers are traveling for business or balancing busy professional lives, for them, staying informed is essential to their travel journey,” said Ranjan Goswami, Chief Marketing and Product Officer at Delta. “By bringing The Wall Street Journal to Delta Sync, we are giving those customers, and any customers who value trusted, high-quality journalism, a smarter, more intuitive way to stay informed and productive.”

Nolly Evans, General Manager of WSJ Digital, said the partnership is built around keeping passengers connected to news and insight while they travel.

“Our partnership with Delta is built on a simple premise: travel should not mean pausing your connection to the world, nor should it mean compromising your competitive edge,” said Evans. “Today’s travelers require real-time clarity to navigate a fast-moving landscape, and we are excited to provide Delta passengers with uninterrupted, seamless access to the breaking news and vital information they need to stay sharp, inspired and equipped to make informed decisions in business, finance and life.”

Delta said the addition builds on Delta Sync’s broader goal of creating distinctive digital experiences that extend beyond the flight. The airline continues to expand the platform through partnerships with brands including The New York Times and Paramount+.
