Anuvu upgrades Dedicated Space to next-gen technology with positive performance results
Anuvu has upgraded its Dedicated Space™ platform driving a more than 35 percent increase in peak speed.
Introduced in 2022, Dedicated Space optimizes network performance by dedicating satellite capacity to individual aircraft and passengers, enabling a low-latency and reliable internet experience. Now, Dedicated Space is implemented on over 800 aircraft across six airline clients within North America and Europe. These Anuvu-equipped aircraft have experienced a two times increase in download speed, four times increase in upload capability and more than 65 percent higher availability during satellite and beam changes than Anuvu’s legacy network platform.
Anuvu also installed the ground segment for the upcoming start of microGEO service which included the next generation of Dedicated Space. With the upgrade, Anuvu has already seen more than one-third increase in peak download speed.

Anuvu’s Dedicated Space won a Crystal Cabin Award in the IFEC and Digital Services category in 2022.
