Panasonic commemorates IFE milestone with Aeromexico
PAC and Aeromexico commemorate IFE milestone in Mexico City
Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) commemorated a milestone this week at Aeromexico 's headquarters in Mexico City. After more than 30 years of partnership with the airline, PAC has equipped 100 aircraft in its fleet with IFE.
“I got the opportunity to visit Aeromexico at their headquarters as we celebrated a significant milestone in our nearly 30-year partnership with Aeromexico,” said Hernan Abbes, Vice President, Global Sales, PAC, via LinkedIn.
Abbes said he was thrilled to commemorate the 100th aircraft in Aeromexico’s fleet equipped with PAC IFE systems. The milestone aircraft was a 737MAX-8, which joined the fleet in June.
Since 2006, PAC has collaborated closely with Aeromexico, beginning with the system S3K on the airline’s 777 fleet.
“As of today, Aeromexico proudly operates 113 aircraft (more on the way!) with PAC IFE, marking this as the largest in-seat IFE fleet in Latin America!” Abbes said. “We are immensely grateful and proud to be Aeromexico's partner in this journey and look forward to many more years of shared success, continued collaboration and innovation.”
He also thanked Mikel Piña Bilbao and the Aeromexico team for welcoming PAC and continuing to strengthen the relationship between both companies.
