Stellar Entertainment unveils new brand identity
Stellar Entertainment is marking its 50th anniversary by unveiling a refreshed brand identity that symbolizes “a celebration of its rich history and a bold step forward into the future.”
The refreshed brand identity includes an updated look and feel and future-focused approach, reflecting the company’s dedication to growth and innovation, the August 1 press release said.
Since its founding in 1974, Stellar has evolved from an industry pioneer to a global leader in inflight entertainment solutions, known for being the longest-running company in this business. With a new management team at the helm since 2020, Stellar has embraced a fresh direction that places innovation, global growth, and unwavering client support at the forefront of its mission.
"Stellar's 50th anniversary is a celebration of our rich history while signifying a bold step forward into the future,” said Sam Allen, Chief Executive Officer, Stellar Entertainment. “The last few years have been a proud testament to the remarkable journey we've been on and how we evolved as a company. With a growing global footprint that includes flag carriers like American Airlines and Air India, we have cemented our position as leading inflight entertainment experts. At the heart of this success lies our diverse and dedicated team, who consistently go above and beyond to simplify the lives of our airline clients.”
Allen continued: “Our refreshed brand identity is not just a visual update; it reflects our evolution and vision for the industry. It encapsulates our growth, our global team of diverse IFE experts, and our steadfast dedication to delivering an exceptional inflight entertainment experience for passengers today and beyond.”
The refreshed visual identity features a vibrant, dynamic colour palette that is designed to capture attention. The updated logo pays homage to the company’s previous star emblem and heritage but with a slick, modern twist.
“The refreshed brand identity reflects our improved client offerings, a commitment to innovation proven in our latest product developments and tech-driven solutions,” the company said.
Central to this is Stellar’s proprietary content management system, pixLTM, designed to increase efficiency across the entire inflight entertainment life cycle by streamlining the complex task of managing inflight entertainment content.
Chief Operating Officer at Stellar Entertainment, Daniel Jacobs, commented: “With pixLTM at the core of our innovative offerings, driving efficiency across the entire inflight entertainment life cycle, we have been able to introduce clients to exciting products and exceptional solutions, including the Stellar IFE portal with its unparalleled interactive features, the Stellar Awards Hub, and our smart programming application pixL GPT. It’s about simplifying IFE for our clients and helping them make better choices.”
As part of the updated brand rollout, Stellar will showcase its new look and feel and its latest IFE developments at its booth during the upcoming APEX/ IFSA Global EXPO this October.
