IdeaNova Technologies highlights updated Inplay version and license server
IdeaNova Technologies Inc. (IdeaNova) is highlighting its updated Inplay player and license server. Inplay Version 6.3.5 is a multimedia, multi-platform streaming player that provides reliable audio and video playback of both DRM and non-DRM content on a single platform.
Google Widevine, Microsoft PlayReady, and Apple Fairplay are all supported on this multi-DRM stream security, with the full range of DRM license server options.
Enhanced features of this version include dynamic ad support, Sceneseek, binge watching, low latency and more. Users can tailor the experience to meet their specific needs with many advanced out-of-the-box or customizable features.
“We spent many hours testing on different platforms (not to mention all the test automation hours that go into each release) to maximize support,” IdeaNova Technologies said in its press release.
The updated Inplay version also features audio only playback in a “mini” player that lets users put content in the background with minimal controls (e.g. play, pause) while working on other things.
Users can also benefit from an implementation with a focus on IFE, allowing offline playback so that no Internet required.
The company’s Inplay DRM Players are used by about 100 million users a year.
IdeaNova’s updated License Server now supports the latest SDKs from Google and Apple, bringing a range of new features and improvements. The SDKs require minimal hardware (64 MB of RAM) and can serve a large number of customers. These License Servers have undergone rigorous testing to fine-tune performance.
