Southwest celebrates all things Shark Week

On Friday Southwest Airlines teamed up with Discovery to celebrate Shark Week with its passengers and employees at Dallas Love Field.
Southwest entertained employees and 175 passengers on Flight #2177 that departed from Dallas Love Field (DAL) and landed in San Diego (SAN) at 11:20 a.m. Gate agents played shark trivia in the gate area before passengers boarding a Shark Week-themed jet bridge for the flight. Passengers also had the opportunity to snap a photo with the famous Shark Week mascot, Chompie, and were given Shark Week fin hats to celebrate onboard.
Shark Week officially hit the air waves on Sunday, July 24. Passengers saw video content for free while onboard by tuning in to Discovery via live TV or by watching the Shark Week On Demand channel on the Inflight Entertainment portal.
