Qatar Airways taps Inflight VR for IFE
Qatar Airways is bringing virtual reality into the cabin with a new entertainment system from Germany-based Inflight VR. As part of its ongoing agenda to push the boundaries of inflight entertainment, the new IFE content is exclusively available to Qsuite and Business Class passenger onboard flights from Doha to Singapore and London, since mid-February.
According to today’s press release from Inflight VR, “the venture ushers in a new era of entertainment where travelers can engage in content, unrestricted and uninstructed, as virtual reality continues to grow in traction.”
