By Rachel Debling

SKYdeals will offer products and services to HOP! passengers at up to 50% off

SKYdeals has announced access to its "Inflight Shoppertainment" platform will be offered to HOP! passengers free of charge beginning January 2019.

Guests on HOP!, an Air France subsidiary specializing in short-haul flights, will be able to connect with SKYdeals via their personal electronic devices on flights from Paris-Orly to Bordeaux, Marseille, Montpellier, Nice and Toulouse.

Through SKYdeals, travelers connected to inflight Wi-Fi will be able to browse offers on destination-specific services, such as activities, hotels and entertainment, in addition to a selection of products like cosmetics and jewelry at up to half off their original retail price. Purchased products will be delivered to passengers' homes, while e-coupons for purchased services will be made available via download. In 2019, the option to pick up items in airport shops or lockers will also be introduced.

Julien Sivan, CEO and co-founder of SKYdeals, said in a statement from the company: "We are excited to deploy SKYdeals on HOP! lines. Partnering with a French company is an important step in our development and the realization of our project. We are convinced that short-haul lines are a great opportunity for 'Inflight Shoppertainment.' This deployment is the first of many to come. Before the end of the year, we will announce major deployments on long and medium-haul. “
