SunExpress opts for Immfly's digital platform

By Rachel Debling

SunExpress Entertainment can be accessed through guests' personal devices and the onboard Immfly Wi-Fi network

SunExpress has partnered with Immfly for "SunExpress Entertainment," the airline's new inflight entertainment system.

The personalized platform will be rolled out across SunExpress' 737-800NG and MAX fleet, complete with an on-demand function that allows it to be used via passengers' personal mobile devices. Customers can use the system to select from a wide range of media, such as TV shows, movies, music, games, magazines and content for kids, simply by entering the Immfly Wi-Fi onboard network.

Guests can also use "SunExpress Entertainment" to access SunCafe, the airline's catering menu, and SunShop, a menu of the duty-free items for purchase on board. In the future, the airline will allow passengers to select and pay for goods from their personal devices and collect them at their seat or at the galley.

“We are happy to work together with Immfly on our inflight entertainment system in the future”, said Peter Glade, Commercial Director of SunExpress, in a release announcing the partnership. “Our guests’ experience is of paramount meaning to us, which is why we need a strong partner as Immfly by our side in order to offer a diverse entertainment program in line with additional services.”
