Anuvu and A24 sign Global Film Distribution Deal
Anuvu Distribution has announced its partnership with A24. The two companies have entered into an exclusive worldwide aviation distribution agreement, granting Anuvu Distribution the rights to distribute A24’s titles.
“A24 is a pioneer in the world of independent cinema, and this collaboration represents our shared commitment to delivering exceptional content and an unparalleled experience to our airline partners and their passengers,” said Alessandro DiGiovanna, Anuvu’s Director of Content Acquisitions, in a June 19 press release. “Travelers want a more engaging and diverse onboard offering. Both Anuvu Distribution and A24 understand this shifting landscape and recognize how curated premium content creates memorable inflight experiences.”
Under this groundbreaking deal, airlines will now have the opportunity to offer passengers a wide selection of A24’s latest feature films through Anuvu’s extensive distribution network. This collaboration marks a significant expansion of the companies’ existing relationship, which first began when Anuvu distributed the critically acclaimed film “Moonlight.” Year after year, Anuvu Distribution’s expanding slate of films has quadrupled, reflecting the demand for high-quality entertainment options during air travel.
In addition to securing new releases, Anuvu Distribution will also represent a collection of celebrated catalogue titles from A24 Distribution. Passengers can look forward to experiencing cinematic gems such as Alex Garland's thought-provoking “Ex-Machina,” Jonathan Glazer’s haunting “Under the Skin,” Lenny Abrahamson’s powerful drama “Room,” and the captivating documentary “Amy” from director Aasif Kapadia.
