Oman Air reveals new 787-9 cabins
Oman Air took delivery of the first of its three Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners that are slated to be delivered to the airline by the end of the year. The aircraft took its inaugural flight on July 1.
The three-cabin aircraft features features eight private suites, 24 Business Class seats and 232 Economy seats. First Class guests on the aircraft's initial flight tested out the airline's premium suites, complete with 180-degree flatbed seats and 55 inch privacy doors.
Upgrades to onboard service in all cabins, such as new chinaware, cutlery, glassware and linens, will be introduced. New bedding will be provided to premium guests as part of a "unique, bespoke experience," according to the airline.
In the Economy cabin, guests will experience new food offerings, amenities and comfort items. Young travelers in all cabins will also receive a new and entertaining activity kit called Junior Sinbad.
Aria, Oman Air's integrated IFE system by Thales, will be available in all three cabins for passengers to enjoy movies, TV shows and audio, plus content curated specially for visitors to Oman.
