Regus Express business lounge opens at London Heathrow’s Terminal 5

By Tanya Filippelli

Heathrow Airport has announced that Regus Express is now open at Terminal 5, offering the airport’s first lounge dedicated to business.

Regus operates more than 2,000 business centers in 104 countries but this will be the group’s first lounge in a U.K. airport. Alongside the main lounge area at Heathrow, the business center will also have a suite of high-specification meeting rooms.

The main lounge area will feature professional co-working spaces, charging points, Wi-Fi, private workstations called ThinkPods and cloud-based printing and copying facilities.

“We are delighted to announce that Regus Express at Terminal 5 is open, offering retailers, business and mobile workers a professional environment for working or meeting,” said Stephen Wilkinson, property director at Heathrow.

“This is the first Regus Express location at a UK airport, and we envisage it becoming a popular touch-down point and meeting venue for a wide variety of users, not just airport passengers," said Phil Kemp, global managing director of Regus Third Place. "We are working with various partners to extend the Regus Express network so that people can work productively wherever they are, from train stations, motorway service areas and petrol stations to shopping centers and universities.”

Access to Heathrow’s Regus lounge is priced at £8 (US$13) per hour or £40 (US$67) per day. Alternatively travelers can buy Regus’ Businessworld Gold membership for £35 (US$59) per month that allows access to any lounge in the worldwide network.
