Servair inaugurates first Air Lounge Café at Fort-de-France
Jérôme Ceccaldi, Servair Executive Vice-President France and Asia, and Frantz Thodiard, the airport's Chairman of the Board were among the dignitaries on hand for the opening.
“The opening of the new location is aligned with the development strategy of Servair, which aims to expand its range of airport services,” said a release from the caterer. “The launch of Air Lounge Café, set to be adapted at various sites, bolsters the 41 positions already held by Servair on the airport catering market worldwide.”
The Air Lounge Café concept provides customers with a soothing environment, where they may dine or order food to go.
In July 2012, Servair and its local partner, Monplaisir, won the contract to exclusively manage and operate the various catering outlets and points of sale at the Fort-de-France passenger terminal for 10 years. The opening of the 109 square meter Air Lounge Café will be part of 1,400 square meters in airside and landside catering facilities.
