Frankfurt Airport installs new rest area for transfer passengers

By Lauren Brunetti

Frankfurt Airport has installed a “feel-good rest area” in its new A-Plus pier for transferring passengers.

The lounge has a hardwood floor, plants, and warm lights, as well was comfy lounge chairs, said a recent media release. There are also plenty of power sockets for travellers to plug in their laptops or other devices.

The lounge is the third of its kind at the airport, with the others based in Terminals 1 and 2. The new rest areas are easy to find but located away from the busiest pedestrian routes.

The rest areas – part of the gateway’s “Great to have you here!” programme – are easy to find but located away from the busiest pedestrian routes.
