EADS Sogerma is pleased to announce that, following the completion of a contract with the Boeing Company in 2012 to become offerable on the all new 787 Dreamliners, the Equinox Business Class product has completed a number of key steps in the difficult process of technical validation with the OEM.

“This is a very big occasion for EADS Sogerma and both Didier Guinot SVP EADS Sogerma Cabin Interiors and I are very excited at the prospects this important announcement can bring to EADS Sogerma in the future,” said Jean Michel Leonard President & CEO of EADS Sogerma .” This type of development is part of our strategy to continue the development and growth of EADS Sogerma now and in the future”.

Offerability for the 787 is a major development for EADS Sogerma. Based on this contract, the fully flat Equinox business class seat will be the first EADS Sogerma product to be included in the 787 catalogue.

Brought to market in April 2011, the Equinox Business Class seat was developed in cooperations with JCE Design and is also available as a line-fit option for buyers of the A350 XWB, Airbus’ newest jet.
