IFSA session to explore catering's role in passenger experience

The International Flight Services Association (IFSA) will be presenting a session called Creating an Authentic and Memorable On-board Experience: Positioning Techniques and Future Outlook by Dr. Stathis Kefallonitis of branding.aero, LLC at this year’s APEX Asia event November 4-5 in Shanghai.

The session with Dr. Kefallonitis will be on the final day of the event from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.  November 5.

The presentation will highlight ways that catering products and services can create a distinctive passenger experience. Dr. Kefallonitis will explore the role of the human senses (taste, smell, sight, touch and hearing) in the overall experience.

Dr. Kefallonitis founded branding.aero, LLC, an independent consulting firm. Kefallonitis has directed projects with Airbus, Boeing, International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), numerous airlines and airports. He facilitated workshops and presentations at Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX), International Flight Services Association (IFSA), World Travel Catering and Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) and Aircraft Interiors Expo industry events. He is a regular contributor to air transport industry trade and business publications.
