Gogo live TV service launched on GOL

A Janury 10 statement from Gogo announced that GOL airline is the launch customer for Gogo TV, the company's IPTV service, which utilizes the 2Ku Wi-Fi system installed on all GOL aircraft.

Passengers can view live-to-air programming from six channels - TV Globo, GloboNews, Gloob, GNT, OFF and Multishow, offered via a partnership between the airline and Globosat - on their personal electronic devices.

GOL’s Chief Experience Officer, Paulo Miranda, commented on the partnership in a press release: “Innovation is part of GOL and adding Live TV streaming is another important step. We are very pleased to be the first airline in Latin America to offer Internet connection, entertainment and live TV to our customers. GOL is very proud of connecting people, and live TV streaming complements and enhances the inflight experience."
