Hyderabad caterers picked

LSG Sky Chefs and Sky Gourmet Catering Ltd. of India have been picked to cater the new International Airport in Hyderabad.

The deal with GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. was signed in mid September. The agreement with LSG Sky Chefs covers 20 years.

Hyderabad is the sixth largest city in India, and the current airport handles approximately 4 million passengers per year. The city is home to number industries, including information technology, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. The first phase of the new airport is scheduled to open in 2008.

LSG has been operating a customer service center at the airport since 2005.
