Pourshins partner gains key designation

Airline catering logistics company Pourshins now has a partner shipping firm that has become the first temperature controlled logistics company in the United Kingdom to achieve a key designation for storage and distribution.

Chittern Cold Storage Group Ltd. has achieved the British Retail Consortium Global Standard for Storage and Distribution.

“This is a significant achievement – unique to the inflight service industry – and underlines Pourshins’ strategy of selecting and managing “best-of-breed” partners, delivering real value throughout the supply chain,” says a release from Pourshins.

The designation gives Chittern an official certification that the company maintains and implements best practice standards achieved by a common auditing platform that is recognized internationally, says Pourshins.
