Air New Zealand is the fifth new contract in recent months for the LSG Sky Chefs unit at London Heathrow, the caterer announced in early September. The new agreement took effect September 6 and calls for LSG Sky Chefs to supply approximately 1,600 meals per day. Air New Zealand operates two flights per day from Heathrow to Auckland. The 747 service to Auckland is carried out via Hong Kong and Los Angeles. New clients for LSG Sky Chefs out of Heathrow include Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Asiana Airlines and China Eastern. |
