Nigel Daniel is the new managing director for the United Kingdom and Ireland at Fernley/International Aviation Services, the ground handling and support business recently acquired by Gate Gourmet. Daniel was most recently executive vice president for ground handling at Aviapartner in Brussels.

Fernley/IAS is now called Gate Aviation Services. Its activities include aircraft cabin cleaning, aircraft washing and de-icing, and security services and suppling airport executive lounges. It also supplies wheelchair and unaccompanied minor assistance.
