From Thanksgiving in the United States through New Year’s Eve, Holland America Line will be highlighting its fare with traditional dishes and festive recipes, as well as cooking classes at the Culinary Arts Center. There will be 19 HAL cruises during the holiday season. Many take travelers far away from the North American continent, to the Caribbean, South America/Antarctica and Australia/New Zealand. Santa Claus will be arriving by parasail on some of the cruises. On New Year’s Eve the will be gala dinners, toasts and college football games. Each holiday will have clergy to conduct Catholic, Protestant and Jewish services, for cruises over Hanukkah.
