Malaysia Airlines adds meals boxes
Malaysia Airlines now has a line of snack boxes on a number of short haul Indochina and domestic flights.
The first boxes were boarded October 1. Flights from Kuala Lumpur to Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh, Yangon and Bangkok are the international destinations. Domestic flights with meal boxes are on flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching, Miri and Kota Kinabalu.
“The result is a more wholesome offering. Promoting healthy eating and a well-balanced diet, while providing our passengers the option of taking away the boxes,” says a release from Malaysia Airlines. The offerings include sandwiches, fruit yogurt, fresh fruit and crunchy snacks. There are also children and vegetarian meals.
Malaysia will have the meal boxes on the rest of its regional sectors in January.
