Cashless cabin on JetBlue

Passengers on JetBlue Airways can buy beverages and “future in-flight” offerings with a credit or debit card on all of the flights starting November 1.

The new service was accomplished through equipment supplied by the airline’s LiveTV subsidiary. Most products, including the airline’s Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and blue chips are available complimentary. The airline boards several high-end wines, including a Santa Julia Merlot and Viognier from Familia Zuccardi vineyards in Argentina. JetBlue uses suggestions by Joshua Wesson of Best Cellars, known as the “Low-Fare Sommelier.”
