First and business class product launched on China Southern

The first A330 fleet on China Southern Airlines with its new first and business class cabins is scheduled to go into service in November.

The aircraft will have four seats in first class and 24 in business class. Seats in first class are of the Apollo design by Contour of United Kingdom. They are equipped with a footstool for additional passenger space and are made in a cocoon configuration and recline 180 degrees. They are equipped with a 15-inch LCD monitor.

The airline has also upgraded its food service to offer a dining on demand product and has opened its lounge to food service. The airline has also upgraded its cocktail service on long-haul international flights and flights to Japan and Korea. Other features in the new service are a selection of Chinese porcelain, glasses and stainless steel plates. In the front cabin, passengers will be presented with a silk book bag containing newspapers and current magazines.
