Spirit teams with Oakfield Farms for buy on board snacks

Spirit Airlines rolled out two new snack kits in October featuring Oreo Cookies and Rice Krispies Treats from Oakfield Farms and Harvey Alpert & Company.

Oakfield Farm’s Snack Kits contain a Le Petit Fromage cheese cup, Nabisco Wheatsworth crackers, Sun-Maid Raisins, and a choice of Nabisco Oreo Cookies or Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats.

“We feel that Spirit’s decision to board Oakfield Farms Snack Kits and offer them for a retail price of $3 is a great value to their passengers,” said Paul Platamone, of Oakfield Farms. “The snacks offer a set of more balanced components with zero grams of trans fat and a small indulgence.”

This recent partnering marks the second time that Spirit has looked to Oakfield Farms for snack options. Five years ago, Oakfield Farms produced a snack box that was served in Spirit’s business class.
