Caribbean charm aboard Celebrity

From January through March a group of will known chefs will be giving passengers on Celebrity Cruises a taste of the islands on the line’s Savour the Caribbean series of cruises.

The line has signed on the following chefs: Allen Susser of Chef Allen’s Restaurant for the January 7 cruise; Cindy Hutson of Orantique Restaurant for January 14; Johnny Vinczencz, the “Caribbean Cowboy” of the Johnny V restaurant in South Beach for Juanuary 21; Robert Trevino who has made the television circuit from Rachel Ray to Iron Chef America on the February 18 cruise; Edgar Leal of Cacao restaurant in Miami for February 25 and Carmen Gonzalez and Norman Van Aken of Carmen the Restaurant with Van Aken the owner of three restaurants for the week of March 4.

Hands-on cooking classes will be part of the Savour the Caribbean cruises. Rum maker Bacardi will be teaching passengers how to make good mojitos. Guest on the Trevino cruise will visit his Parrot Club restaurant in San Juan.
