Ethnic egg excitement from Gut Springenheide
Gut Springenheide‘s Sabayon au Champagne and Marsala Zabaglione are served in real eggshells and sold in 20-egg-trays, of four per box. For the less adventurous, there is a wide range of gourmet filled omelets.
For the Asian market, the German company has an Atsuyaki Tamago (a thick baked Japanese omelet) formed from multiple thin layers of cooked egg. The texture is smooth and soft and the flavor is sweet and savory. Japanese restaurants cut it into pieces for Sushi and caterers use it for Asian meals. Through this kind of innovation the company has become a leading international supplier of egg-related, pre-cooked dishes.
