SSP to open two outlets at HKIA

Select Service Partner (SSP), the airport concessionaire, announced that its new contract in Hong Kong International Airport will include two more outlets at the SkyPlaza restaurant in Terminal 2

The additions will bring the number of SSP outlets in Hong Kong to 26 across the airport.

One unit will be the Habibi Café, the company’s first “halal and healthy” addition. The outlet has become one of the most popular in Hong Kong since it burst on the scene six years ago. Soon, the terminal 2 outlet at the airport will hum with activity as traditionally clothed waiters and waitresses serve Mediterranean specialties of mezze, chicken shishtaowuk, couscous, beef kebabs and sizzling plates of kota lamb.

The second outlet is the Itamae sushi bar, another successful Hong Kong addition, with three now in the city. Tiger prawns, salted tuna. Tataba Bonniku and port Toro sushi will be among the offerings. A group of chefs will assemble the sushi by hand over a conveyor belt.

SSP project sales of US$1.4 million from the outlets over the seven year life of the contract.
