Do & Co lifted by additional customer capacity

The Austrian caterer Do & Co reported and EBIT profit of US$6.29 million for the first half of its fiscal year ending in September.

Press accounts from Austria say the company’s major revenue increases came from its airline catering division where customers increased capacity leading to 65.8 percent more revenue for the first half of the year. Overall, Do & Co recorded sales of €105.2 million (US$134 million) for the first have of the year, a 50.3 percent increase.

The company’s restaurant and event catering operations saw a 40 percent increase attributed to the takeover of the catering operations at the British Museum in London. The company also opened its first Do & Co Hotel.

Do & Co has also increased its workforce from 1,296 to 1,818.
