HAL ups investment for Signature program
Holland America Line’s program to expand activities and amenities on board has investments approaching half a billion dollars with the launch as the ms Prinsendam leaves dry dock the middle of next month.
HAL’s Signature of Excellence features are now on every ship in the fleet at a cost to the cruise line of US$425 million. Features of the Signature of Excellence include more luxurious accommodations, enticing destinations, enhanced dining services, and a greater variety of activities and personalized service.
Notable parts of the culinary enhancements in the Signature of Excellence include the ship’s Culinary Art Center, the New York Times Explorations cafes the Pinnacle Bar and Grill and a gaggle of culinary experts on many cruises giving demonstrations and teaching classes.
Passengers can take iPod art tours on the ships and sail on the line’s new wine exploration packages and partake a flexible As You Wish dining plan.
