Servair wins award for safety program

A safety regime for loading the A380 as earned Servair the Icare trophy awarded each year by the Association of Safety Chart CDG and the Regional Health Insurance Center.

To win the award, Servair developed a loading truck that limits the risk of falling while catering the big aircraft, much of which has to be done at a height of eight meters. The new truck has reinforced safety features and protections for workers loading in a strong wind. An international anemometer gauges wind and keeps personnel in lock chamber until they are able to safely work.
