Carnival touts international choices on Splendor
From increased choice in its main dining rooms, to its reservations-only supper clubs to its expanded number of casual dining outlets, Carnival Cruises says its new 113,000-ton, Carnival Splendor is an international diner’s paradise.
Among the offerings on the mega-ship: Indian tandoori and Mongolian barbecue, a sushi bar called California Roll, a bar called El Mojito and a New York style deli. The ship's main dining rooms will offer six appetizers and soups, two salads and six entrees.
The Splendor will debut July 2 with an eight-day voyage from Genoa and a 12-day northern European cruise from London to Rome. From there, the ship sails through the Mediterranean, Greece and Turkey before starting voyages to the Caribbean and South America.
The Splendor is the largest Carnival vessel ever built and will hold 3,006 passengers.
