Culinary celebrities secured on Crystal
Two chefs and two sommeliers have been picked to show their stuff on Crystal Cruises itineraries in New England and the Mediterranean this fall.
Michelle Bernstein, a James Beard nominee and owner of Michey’s in Miami and Lettie Teague, a wine expert, will be on the Mediterranean 12-day voyage from Rome to Barcelona this fall on the Crystal Serenity.
On the Crystal Symphony, the cruise line will be featuring Henri Brosi, executive chef of London’s Dorchester Hotel and Keith Goldston a master sommelier on a 10-day trip from Canada to New York.
The itineraries are part of the line’s October Wine and Food Festival cruises. The program features lectures and demonstrations, tastings and signature dishes. Shore excursions include visits to Michelin starred restaurants in Sorrento and a wine tasting in Sicily on the Mediterranean cruise. On the Canada/New England cruise, passengers will savor a lobster lunch in Nova Scotia and a wine tasting in St. Johns.
