Virgin ends inflight beauty therapy
Following the review of its inflight beauty therapy services, Virgin Atlantic Airways announced that it would be taking the program off the cabin to significantly expand the number of treatments offered at its flagship Heathrow Clubhouse.
Starting in May, beauty treatments off the aircraft will increase 70 percent. The inflight service will cease and all inflight beauty therapists will be offered jobs either as cabin crew or as beauty therapists on the ground.
“We have expanded and improved our Clubhouses around the world and will also be continuing with our plans to offer spa facilities in our other Clubhouses,” said Lyell Strambi Virgin Atlantic’s chief operating officer. “We hope to announce further details in due course.”
