Before the start of the start of its 2007 Alaska season, Celebrity Cruises will hold a cruise through the western wine country featuring speakers, wine appreciation seminars, culinary blending courses and shore excursions on a seven night cruise from San Francisco to Vancouver. A second cruise in November will be for 10 nights from Vancouver to San Diego. Ports will be Victoria, Seattle, Astoria, Oregon and Catalina Island with an overnight in San Francisco. Among the culinary highlights will be a seafood and wine tasting session in Astoria, Oregon; a “city lights” dinner with wine pairing in San Francisco, and a Napa Valley evening, and a visit to Sterling Vineyards. There will also be a tour of Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
