Air India picks Avio for seats

Air India is spending US$50 million on new seats in the first class section of its 777s.

The carrier has selected Avio Interiors for the program. It will outfit four first class seats in its 301 seat 777-200 aircraft and 15 in its 365 passenger 777-300. Most of the aircraft are on the airline’s service from India to the United States and Europe.
