Westerdam receives HAL appointments

A larger Pinnacle Grill and Bar and a Explorations Café will be part of Holland America Line’s ms Westerdam that will be plying the waters this summer on a European cruise season.

Following improvements on the ship in Italy, the Pinnacle alternative restaurant was expanded to accommodate 136 diners. Passengers can surf the web in Explorations, and enjoy a magnificent view. The café was created in conjunction with the New York Times.

The Pinnacle and Explorations were part of HAL Signature of Excellence fleet wide enhancements. The first of the improvements were completed in 2006. They will be part of HAL’s Eurodam which will be launched and Oosterdam which will be launched in 2008 and the Zuiderdam which will be launched in 2009.
