Chavaroc to leave Newrest
One of the founders of the Newrest Group formed last fall will be leaving the company this summer to pursue “private company interests” the caterer announced last week.
After 34 years in the industry, Philippe Chavaroc will leave his post as head of marketing and communication July 31. He has been with the Newrest Group since 2002, when the company was Eurest Flight Services and owned by the Compass Group. He was also head of the company’s logistics firm, ILC. On August, 1 Sebastien-Reginald Gras will take over ILC. He comes to the company from DHL, where he was he worked in the automotive and aerospace industries.
Newrest says that Chavaroc will remain an “important shareholder in the group.”
In his career, Chavaroc has worked with rail caterer Wagon Lits, along with Sodexho, Elior and Servair.
