Northwest Airlines, which recently emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy, has picked Gate Gourmet to cater its twice-daily trans-Atlantic flights from London Gatwick to the United States. The four-year contract starts July 1. The airline’s current caterer at Gatwick is Alpha flight Services “This is good news for our business in the U.K. and further evidence of the company’s progress and development, said the caterer’s vice president of Europe west and south, Eric Born.
