First Class bar at JAL’s Narita lounge

JAL expands lounges at Narita

Two lounges totaling nearly 4,000 square meters were opened last week at Japan Airlines main international hub at Narita Airport.

The lounges are triple the size of the airlines’ former facilities. There is the JAL First Class Lounge and the JAL Sakura Lounge, both located in the main building. The lounges are designed with walnut appointments and soft-colored glass and stone with leather and suede furniture.

From 07:30 to 22:00 passengers can enjoy a hot meal service with breakfasts of bacon, scrambled eggs and tofu as well as wakame miso soup and fresh Koshihikari rice. For lunch and dinner passengers will feast on vegetable curry with rice or Sanukiudon soft noodles in soup. The lounges will specialize in soup products from Soup Stock Tokyo, a well-known supplier of soups made from natural ingredients.
