Pourshins to import to India

Logistics company Pourshins announced last week that it would be working with a company in India to import inflight service products in bulk for distribution to airlines and caterers around the giant country.

Pourshins will partner with Gourmet Logistics, which has multi-temperature warehouses in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. The company specializes in importing food products for caterers and hotels. Gourmet Logistics handles frozen, chilled and ambient products in bond or duty paid and delivers with its own fleet of vehicles. Pourshins will handle ordering, administration and invoicing.

“India’s in-flight caterers produce some of the most sophisticated meals anywhere,” says a release from Porushins. “Supported by Pourshins’ international supply network, both airlines and caterers will now be able to serve the best products and food brands from around the globe, consistent with their service concept and brand identity.”
